Rudolf HRADIL was born in Salzburg in 1925. 1947 to 1951 studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with Andersen, Gütersloh and Boeckl (evening act). Students with Anton Kolig during the semester break. 1951 to 1952 Paris scholarship, studies in the Fernand Léger studio. 1959 to 1960 attended the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London. 1963 scholarship at the Istituto Austriaco di Cultura in Rome. Since 1964 member of the Secession, Vienna. 1965 Scholarship from the Max Beckmann Society in Murnau and Frankfurt / Main. 1981, 1982 and 1984 class for etching, 1989 class for watercolor at the International Summer Academy Salzburg. 1982 invitation to the Austrian Cultural Institute in Istanbul. 1986 scholarship from DAAD, Berlin. His oeuvre is represented in numerous national and international collections. Rudolf Hradil dies in Vienna in 2007.
