Hans KRUCKENHAUSER was born on April 9, 1940 in Bregenz. 1959 to 1964 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. 1960 Attended the School of Seeing at the Salzburg Summer Academy, where he devoted himself to nude painting. 1965 to 1967 studies in Paris and assistant to Kurt Moldovan at the International Summer Academy in Salzburg. 1968 to 1979 assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, master school for graphics with Prof. Maximilian Melcher. From 1980 active as a freelance artist. Numerous exhibitions and participations in exhibitions and honors followed, including Honorary Prize of the Salzburg Art Association for Graphics (1964), Medaille d’or de l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts por Peinture des Nus, Paris (1966). Study visits to Paris, Venice and London. Until 2005 assistant at the academy in Vienna. The artist lived and worked in Oslip in Burgenland.
