Herbert Breiter, born in Landshut (Silesia) in 1927, came to Salzburg in 1945. As the organizer of the Graphic Workshop in the Traklhaus in Salzburg, he left his mark on the visual arts in Salzburg and promoted two generations of subsequent painters, draftsmen and graphic artists. In 2012, a commemorative plaque — Herbert Breiter Terrace — was unveiled above the Toscanini Courtyard in Salzburg, on the spot where Breiter captured countless impressions of Salzburg.
On the upper floor of the gallery drawings of the artist are presented.

The artist, born in Bangkok in 1952, has been working continuously on work blocks in small format for years. On the one hand, he composes colored surfaces with pigments on the paper primed with beeswax. The second group of works comprises reduced black and white picture compositions.

Suvat graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Since 1983 the artist has participated in numerous exhibitions and exhibition participations in Austria, Germany and Italy. Suvat lives and works in Vienna.
