Rudolf Hradil (1925–2007) is one of the most impor­tant Salzburg artists of the 20th cen­tu­ry. In 2023, the Salzburg Muse­um received numer­ous oil paint­ings from his estate, which are a won­der­ful addi­tion to the many graph­ic works from pre­vi­ous pur­chas­es and dona­tions by the artist. In hon­or of Rudolf Hradil’s 100th birth­day, select­ed works and a small selec­tion of every­day objects from the artist’s stu­dio will be shown in show­cas­es as a guest per­for­mance at Galerie Welz. Graph­ic works, water­col­ors and oil paint­ings from the Welz Gallery’s col­lec­tion com­plete the overview of his work.
