1899 - Founding

Friedrich Welz found­ed the frame and gild­ing work­shop of the same name in Salzburg. In 1934, his son, Friedrich Max­i­m­il­ian Welz (1903–1980), after his father’s death, took over the frame and gild­ing work­shop, which was con­tin­ued as a widow’s business.
