Christoph CONSTANTIN was born in Salzburg in 1956. After an apprenticeship at the Federal College for Wood and Stone Sculpture in Hallein, studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Work stays in a bronze foundry in Verona and in the Carrara quarries. Exhibiting activities in Salzburg, Vienna, Berlin, Graz, Bremen, Klagenfurt and Innsbruck, among others. In 1988/89 assistant at the International Summer Academy in Salzburg. Christoph Constantin has dealt intensively with the materials and possibilities of sculpture and has developed an unmistakable personal style. His works made of wood, marble, cotto and metal are in private and public collections. The artist lives and works in Salzburg and Burgenland.
