Wolf­gang RICHTER was born in 1953 in Zucher­ing near Ingold­stadt / Bavaria. 1970 to 1996 work in the graph­ic work­shop Kün­stler­haus in Salzburg with Her­man Ober. 1972 to 1980 stud­ies of Ger­man lan­guage and lit­er­a­ture, his­to­ry and art edu­ca­tion. 1990 dis­ser­ta­tion. 1973 found­ing mem­ber of the Salzburg lit­er­a­ture group pro­jek­tlL. Since 1972 reg­u­lar exhi­bi­tions and par­tic­i­pa­tion in exhi­bi­tions. Since 1976 teach­ing activ­i­ty in Salzburg. From 1981 free­lancer for the Salzburg­er Nachricht­en. Since 1983 teach­ing posi­tion at the Mozar­teum Uni­ver­si­ty. 1989 to 1993 cura­tor in the “Kun­straum St. Vir­gil”, Salzburg. 1986 to 1990 assis­tant at the Mozar­teum Uni­ver­si­ty. Real­iza­tion of land art projects and artis­tic imple­men­ta­tions in nat­ur­al areas from the end of the 80s. Wolf­gang Richter lives and works in Salzburg. 2009 – first exhi­bi­tion in the gallery Welz.
